Our organization is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead our long-term care facility.
The ideal candidate will have a history of strong leadership skills, and understanding and competency in the licensing and ceritfication standards in long term/skilled nursing facilities.
A love for geriatrics and a passion for providing quality care to elderly patients.
The Director of Nursing will be responsible for developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing staff, and ensuring that all patients receive the highest level of care.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that are in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Provide guidance and support to nursing staff.
Develop and implement patient care plans for long-term care patients.
Conduct assessments of patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.
Ensure that all nursing staff are properly trained and educated on the latest techniques in geriatric care.
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
Ensure that all medical records are accurate and up to date.
